I'm a smaller guy, at 175, 5'11", and I can conceal the PPS easily. In fact, awhile back I wore a tank top and swimming trunks to the local pool and was CC'ing the whole while. I didn't get IN the water though, until after I'd went back out and locked it up in my ride.
I carry IWB with a crossbreed style at 4 o'clock or thereabouts very comfortably...I also carry an XDs in the same place equally comfortably. The thinness and short grip (with the flush mag) help immensely. Even when driving, it's very discreet. I've not CC anything else (save for my PPQ...that's not at all easy nor comfortable given my size) so I don't have a lot of room to go on here, but if you're a slimmer fella, it'll hide great.
Yes, the grip feels a little odd since it's thin and flat, but after some practice with it, you get used to it. The XDs is really similar in feel, and size too, so not a lot of adjustment there for me.
I'd eventually like to try a couple more brands and styles of IWB, but for me, my main PPS holster is very soft, supple and works well. I did add some Tommy Theis extreme duty kydex belt clips as I was afraid the metal clips might bend or cut into my leather seats. Tommy makes excellent holsters too, my PPQ IWB is one of his. Good stuff.
