Please let me know how your PPS has been and it reliability, I'm buying one for my CCW trying to switch to something smaller and more compact.

You might want to run a quick search of the topic; it gets asked quite a bit, and a lot of current threads address this exact question. For example:

http://www.waltherforums.com/forum/pps/19280-pps-checklist-before-buying.html

http://www.waltherforums.com/forum/pps/31256-will-crunchy-trigger-go-away.html

... and plenty of others.

The consensus on this forum seems to be that the PPS is a reliable and accurate concealed carry pistol. I own two of them, and I've never had a whisper of an issue. As with all firearms, of course, it is not perfect. Nothing ever is.

I have owned one for a year now, in 9mm. It has been 100% reliable with 800-1000 rounds of all types through it. From what I understand there were some issues with the earlier PPS, but that issue has been corrected.

I believe there were some issues with the slide lock spring, you can search the forums to find out the exact issues, I haven't experienced this problem.

I have only carried the PPS IWB at the appendix position with the smaller magazines. It hides well when it is carried low (grip just above beltline). The slim profile works great for me.

Great to know that's eh I'm buying it I need a thinner gun and the Ruger lc9 is crap because I carried my father inlaws and it started rusting due to moister. How is the recoil compared with a more full size 9mm like the PPQ OR G17c

I purchased my PPS used so I was not sure how many rounds were put through it but my guess was less than 500 rounds. I have put 2500+ rounds through it without a single issue (2 stovepipes due to shooter, me). It's accurate enough for the job it needs to do and it's my daily carry, mild recoil IMO. Mine was made in 2008, AE coded. I carry Federal 147gr HST for self defense but have shot everything from 115, 124, 135, 147gr in standard and +p with no issues.

My new PPS is incredibly thin, but not necessarily small. I also have a Beretta Nano and while it's actually a bit thicker, it is shorter and not as tall and feels smaller. The PPS isn't a light weight by any means either, but it you should notice quite a difference how easily it carries IWB/OWB than your current CCW (I assume it's a double-stack, or large revolver based on your comment). So far I've been very pleased with mine (it's a 40 S&W), but haven't had it long enough to make any comments regarding their reliability. Good luck with your new pistol!

Good to hear brother I got the 9mm version as all my pistols are 9's but I'm Shure they make a kydex holster for it we will see. I carry a PPQ not to big at all just want something I don't have to worry about printing I carry OWB in kydex black dog holster and I wear a a thin 5.11 jacket over it so It can't be seen just want a pistol I can just use a shirt and be good enough.

I'm a smaller guy, at 175, 5'11", and I can conceal the PPS easily. In fact, awhile back I wore a tank top and swimming trunks to the local pool and was CC'ing the whole while. I didn't get IN the water though, until after I'd went back out and locked it up in my ride.

I carry IWB with a crossbreed style at 4 o'clock or thereabouts very comfortably...I also carry an XDs in the same place equally comfortably. The thinness and short grip (with the flush mag) help immensely. Even when driving, it's very discreet. I've not CC anything else (save for my PPQ...that's not at all easy nor comfortable given my size) so I don't have a lot of room to go on here, but if you're a slimmer fella, it'll hide great.

Yes, the grip feels a little odd since it's thin and flat, but after some practice with it, you get used to it. The XDs is really similar in feel, and size too, so not a lot of adjustment there for me.

I'd eventually like to try a couple more brands and styles of IWB, but for me, my main PPS holster is very soft, supple and works well. I did add some Tommy Theis extreme duty kydex belt clips as I was afraid the metal clips might bend or cut into my leather seats. Tommy makes excellent holsters too, my PPQ IWB is one of his. Good stuff. :)

I'm an athletic guy about 190 so I should conceal it well I carry outside the waist in a kydex holster from blackdog my PPQ, so I think I will start carrying IWB with this one or I might just use as backup. "TWO IS ONE AND ONE IS NONE".

I carry my PPS in a Raven Phantom kydex owb holster. I can't stand iwb holsters but the phantom can do both. I use the 7 round mag with an 8 round in a mag carrier.

Finally got my PPS yesterday and man as soon as I picked it up and held it out in my thumbs out grip, man you can't ask for a more natural feel on a pistol it seems this pistol was designed for combat usage and my particular grip I have always trained with was made for this weapon hands down.

The pps is a fine gun and so far has been very reliable for me. My big issue with walther is that I'm very concerned with their warranty or lack there of. They really need to prove to me that they will provide decent service before I will buy another walther pistol. I own many other brands but have only needed parts for two, one being S&W and the other Ruger. But companies were excellent and supplied the parts I needed very quickly. If I ever have the need I hope Walther will meet my expectations but only time will tell. Based on what I've been reading I have serious doubts.

Good luck with that. It took my buddy 4 months to get his PPS back, it failed only after 300 rounds. Funny thing is, they told him it would take 2 weeks, then they couldn't or simply didn't have an answer as to when he would get it back.

I've owned Walther firearms for years and have never had a concern about ongoing support, mostly because I haven't needed much, and when I did, I was able to easily obtain the parts or magazines or ... whatever. I still buy Walthers, mostly older models now, and still have no concern about obtaining parts or whatnot when necessary. The sky is not falling, the world is not ending, and Walther is still around ... on both sides of the Atlantic.

I received my PPS as a replacement for a PK380 that had multiple issues. I love this pistol and would not sell it! I have had zero issues after 1000 rounds. Walther went above and beyond the call by sending this pistol to me.
