Received the Protos-M in less than a week from Black Arch. This IWB is super comfortable, and along with the PPS M2 makes for a great concealment package! Carrying it between 4 and 5 o'clock, I can sit in my truck or at my desk without removing the PPS M2 and it doesn't jam into the seat and make sitting down uncomfortable. Very happy with the Protos-M so far, and excited to see how the breathable backer works this summer.

A thanks to the forum for helping lead me in the right direction.

Being a big guy. 350+. It's been a challenge to find a good holster that's comfortable and fits in the "peaks and valleys" of my belly. So far the Stealthgear mini has been great. The biggest challenge is re-holstering because the soft backing folds over a little. I have an alien gear too which is nice but not as comfy.

One of the things I like about the Clinger Stingray holster, is after drawing my gun, if I want to re-holster I always remove the holster first, then holster my gun before I re-holster, this is the safest and easiest way to use a IWB holster, especially when worn appendix style which is how I carry, this to me is a great advantage and keeps me and others safe, there are many kydex holsters out there, and most you can do this with, I'm just sold on the quality that Clinger puts out in their line, I think I'm up to 11 holsters from them some are in my EDC Rotation, which ever style and brand holster you use, make sure re-holstering is always safe to do, my PPS M2 is happy to ride in mine...

Picked up a sticky holster and belly band as well after trying them out at a gun show. The belly band is mainly for the wife when she's wearing yoga pants, she really liked it. The sticky is surprisingly better than I thought even at iwb or pocket with no clip that thing barely moves at all. It's perfect when I just run somewhere real quick and I don't use a belt and my stealthgear. With the tiny G42 it just disappears, my main all day carry is still the SG with a Kore belt.

I got an Aliengear holsterfor a compact 1911 .45. Very comfortable. Thinking about one for the PPS.

Wow lots of choices out there...I picked up a used pps m2 not long ago...seller gave me an uncle mikes holster (similar to sticky and remora)...as well as a single clip holster (don't recall the brand)...I also have a couple remora holsters (1 for a g19 and 1 for a sr22)...and an alien gear cloak tuck 3 holster for my g19...I don't like the uncle mikes...and the single clip is ok but a bit bulky...I think I'm going to heat and reshape it a bit...so I've been going to the remora for now which I use for the sr22...fits great, doesn't move and it's comfortable...once I finish breaking in the pistol and grab a few new mags I'll probably get another alien gear holster and probably a talon grip and call it a day

Got my Vedders Light Tuck. Nicely built. Great retention. Havent had time to mess with it much yet.
I'm returning mine. Retention, as tight as it would go, would not hold the pistol when turned upside down.
It was also a bear to put on and take off. NOT what they advertise!!

You must have somehow gotten a bad one. First I've heard of that. I have two LightTucks and they fit perfect. My PPS M2 and my P99c (which I'm wearing right now) stay in place upside down. They are top notch in my book. I'm sure they'll exchange it if you like but your mind may be made up.

If you're looking for another option, I'd recommend the Black Arch Protos. I have one of those for my M2 as well. I just don't use it much. I also recommend StealthGearUSA. I have three of their holsters.

Good luck.

Is there any difference between holsters that use duel snap buttons as opposed to these super strong metal clips?
Pros and cons please.

High Noon, Bravo Concealment, and Keyhole holsters are great too. Ive owned about 20 holsters, 5 of them are Keyhole holsters, all for different guns, all IWB, a couple tuckable ones and standard ones. Keyhole has been the most comfortable by far and totally customizable designs.

I have stealth gear for my PPS M2 and love it. But recently bought a Kimber Micro 9 and Stealth gear doesn't make a holster for it, so I bought a Black Arch Protos-M and I think its just as good if not better!

Outside the waistband for PPS M2

Vedder holsters sent me a new holster to replace the one that had no retention. Very nice of them to honor their warranty.
The problem with IWB is that I have a spare tire around my middle and I am having trouble grasping the pistol because of it.
I've read all 24 pages of this post, and am starting to think that maybe an OWB would be better for me.
I'm asking those of you that carry in an OWB of what your choices are/were, and why you settled of what you have.
I can't afford to try 6-8 holsters, so you input will be invaluable. Please be as detailed as you want to be!

THANKS!

I had Winthrop stuff for my PPS M1.

Good leather gear for a decent price.

Does anyone here have a D.M. Bullard holster for their PPS?
