Where can I find the proper optics plate for a PDP if I want to put a SIG Romeo zero on the firearm. I saw on the website what to order but Walther doesn’t have that one. Any suggestions? Thanks
I realize this post is a little over a year old but I thought I would ask. Were you ever able to get a plate for the Burris Fast Fire 3 for your Walther PDP? I am looking at the same optic and would like to know if Walther has the plate to send me for free or am I going to need to get from somewhere else? Also what is the mounting style that is used by the Burris Fast Fire 3?Received my optic plate for my new PDP and picked up a Burris Fast Fire 3 yesterday. The cutout in the slide is too short for the Burris to fit in there.
Any suggestions?
What is the serial #? Gen 2 pistols start with FDL9203, FDM0001, and FDN3124. My recently bought PDP serial is FDOxxxx and it's Gen 2.I just bought a full Sz PDP from Buds gun shop online and was checking out the adapter plates from CHPWS, and was wondering how I tell if I have a 1.0 or a 2.0.. ?
Thank you very much. The gun should be ready for pickup in a few days so I’ll check it out then now that I know what to look for. Thanks again.. serial is FDH btw so prob a Gen 1..What is the serial #? Gen 2 pistols start with FDL9203, FDM0001, and FDN3124. My recently bought PDP serial is FDOxxxx and it's Gen 2.
Alternately just take the optics cover off the slide (with a t10 Torx). If the optics cut is flat, it's a Gen 1. If it's milled like this then it's Gen 2...

When you receive and register the gun, you can fill out an on-line form and Walther will send you the optics plate of your choosing for free. Mine took just over a week to arrive.
