My collection of nice 7.65mm guns still keeps growing. These two guns are my latest additions:
- FN model 140
- SIG Sauer P230

This FN model 140 was manufactured by Beretta in 1992. Basically it's a Beretta model 81 with a different slide design. The other divergency is related to the position of the safety lever. In the USA this pistol was sold under the name Browning BDA 380.

This SIG Sauer P230 probably was made around 1986/1987. It seems to be an export model because I can't recognize any German proof mark at the usal spot on the frame.

I own five P230/232 models. Not two of them have all their proof marks at the same location. One of them shows the caliber in a milled-out area too. The right sides of the slides look quite different however.

I've removed some old grease and then I was able to locate the proof marks on my latest addition. The nitro proof mark on the slide is very weak (circle on last photo). The date code is JA, so 1980 is the year of the proof.
