FWIW, my P22Q was bought a little over 2 weeks ago. 1st range trip, shot about 150 rounds of Win M-22 with 2 hammer strikes no bang (three mags worth apart), both times cycled slide to eject, failed to extract live rounds. Note: didn’t cock hammer and reattempt firing. Each time, pried round out of chamber with jewelers flat tip, and put back into mag….Bang both times and normal cycle. Read a lot of posts on previous issues with P22’s and ammo selection. 2 trip to range fired 300 rounds of M-22 (200ct)/Federal Blk (100ct), 4 rounds into first mag of the day…click no bang, live rounds into first stuck in chamber. Cleared, reloaded, remaining rounds no failures. After cleaning, at home, polished the feed ramp and very lightly polishing the chamber, oiled and prepared for 3rd range day. No issues, all 300 rounds this trip were Federal Black, 36g HPs, from 1100 round value pack. Next range day will be CCI Blazer. So far this is all the ammo I’ve tried, but since I buy whatever is on sale online, in bulk, it could be anything after the 6K rounds of Blazer and Fed Blk are gone.
LOVE the Blazer 38gr/1235fps.Works great for my P22

The first and only time I ran Stingers in my P22 I had a case blow out in the chamber. After that I emptied the magazine reloaded with other ammo. I have also had failure to feed issues with Winchester Super X 40 gr cphp 1435 fps Hyper Velocity Varmint and Small Grain loads. I have found that I have good results with CCI Mini Mags 40 gr cprn, or CCI Velocitor rounds. I also like Aguilla Super Extra, just about any round that is over 1240fps cycles well. Once I figured this out, my P22 has been very reliable. Anything less than that won't cycle properly. Failure to feed, failure to eject, stovepipes.
