Here is my 4" compact Chunk Ported by Monsoon Tactical.
Took it to the range and put about 350 124gr Norma FMJs through it and a mag of 147gr HP gold dots. It is using the stock recoil spring as far as I know. Everything fired as intended with 0 malfunctions. The gun locked back on empty every time as well.
As for the muzzle flip it is noticeably reduced. I was able to keep my sight picture and dot in focus a lot easier so follow up shots were faster and more accurate. It would be interesting to fire a stock PDP vs a chunk ported PDP side by side for a comparison. I'll have to see if the range has a PDP for rental next time.
If this is something you want to do I'd say do it. It looks and works great IMO. I can see why people send their Staccatos into them for chunk porting.
Lead time is 5-7 weeks but they don't need the slide until they are ready to work on it. Once they got my slide in it was back in my hands in a week (would have been sooner if UPS wasn't delayed due to bad weather).
