I watched a couple of videos today on how to install the performance dynamic trigger on a PDP. I don't think I want give it a try myself. I called Walther customer service and they said they will do it for $115 which includes labor and shipping charges both ways. They want the whole gun so that they can shoot it to make sure it is "fully functional". Turnaround time is typically about two weeks. As soon as I can find a black trigger kit I plan on having my FFL buddy send it off for me. I thought you guys might find this information helpful.

Do you have to use an FFL when sending for service? I had a dead tritium lamp on my Sig and they just had me send it to them and shipped it back to me.

Never mind…the answer was right there!

Walther has the gray ones in stock currently. Surprised to see the black ones out of stock again so soon. I guess they've been incredibly popular. Though you may not need an FFL to handle the shipping. Firearms can be shipped to the manufacturer for service and directly back to the owner (same address it was shipped from) without needing an FFL transfer.

I had to return my Browning X-Bolt .270 to them for some warranty work not too long ago. It was a real pain. Packed it up and took it to UPS. They wouldn't take it because Browning e-mailed me the wrong kind of shipping label to ship a firearm. Didn't have Browning's FFL number on it. I called them and they sent me one that UPS would accept. It got shipped directly back to me but it required an adult signature for them to leave it. It's a pain to ship firearms here in New York State. I tried to buy a high end air gun online from a dealer in Ohio not too long ago. Paid for it online only to be called back and told that they couldn't ship it to NY residents. What a joke.
