Safariland is now listing holsters for the PDP. They currently only have holsters to accommodate an optic, as well as a light package. In other words, they don't have a holster for 'just the pistol' ..... meaning no light or optic.

I do have one ordered, as their RDS holsters include a hood that covers the optic. I referred to this hood as a 'cookie crumb deflector' a while back. Well, last night I'm sittin' in my recliner muchin' on a cookie.....finished the cookie, then got up to go to the kitchen sink to wash my hands and thought I'd take a look at the back of my Romer01 .... sure enough, there's a flippin' cookie crumb. So Yeah, I need a cookie crumb deflector. 😂

Here's a link Holster Finder

As a side note: When using the 'Holster Finder', they list the PDP compact and the PDP full size as separate choices. That's a little confusing, because other than the length of the grip, they're the same gun.

When you select PDP compact, you're only barrel size choice is 4".

When you select PDP full size, the barrel length choices are 4" and 4.5".

You can go with either one of those and you'll wind up at the same page I've linked above. 😖

So, if you have a PDP compact or full size with 4" or 4.5" barrel and your going to be using one of he optics and lights they list in the 'drop-down' boxes, you're good to go.
Safariland holster finder is showing me ZERO holsters for the PDP!

Good video from Rdr gear explaining their mods to the SIG holster and why they made them.

Yessir! That is for the 6000 series holsters. This 7000 series holster seems to require no mods.

It doesn't. The only downside to the 7000 series is which lights work in it. I don't believe any of the larger lights like tlr1 and surefire work in it. For those wanting the larger lights these would be the way to go.

I am currently using a 7000 series as described in my previous post with a Surefire X300U-B.
