New to the forum, new to Walther, new to CCW.

I just picked up a very nice used PPS M2 LE last weekend and it came with a Kydex IWB made by Spectre Concealment (company run by a guy locally). Being new to CCW I'm still trying to explore all of the carry possibilities. Currently carrying AIWB with 0 cant but have also carried at 4 o'clock with 15 cant. Not sure which carry I like better yet.

I'm trying to figure out if I would like a "larger" holster (double clip with leather backing) similar to cloak tucks. But none me the less, here is what I have to start with.

New OWB option!

I received my new Stealth Operator Compact OWB Holster today. It is supposed to work with over 150 handguns. It does work with my PPS M2 and my P99 compact. Of course it's more snug with the thicker gun but it works just fine with my PPS M2. I may go with this option some since jacket/coat season is finally here.

Black Arch's PROTOS-M with PPS M2.

I also like the M set up for IWB carry as well, but am too portly for any
AIWB carry with any of my guns.

Vedder Lighttuck / Stealth Gear Ventcore Appendix IWB

How are you liking the Vedder Lighttuck? I've been waffling between that and the Stealthgear Ventcore Appendix IWB. I saw you have a few Stealth Gear holsters as well. You don't happen to have an Appendix Ventcore to give me a good comparison between the two?

R&B Dawg,

I almost bought a SG appendix holster for my PPS M2 but didn't because I don't really carry appendix anyway. My other SG holsters are the onyx/standard ventcore style. They are really nice. As for the Vedder Light Tuck, I have one for my PPS M2 and one for my P99c. They are the best all kydex holsters I have mainly because of the strong versatile steel clip and I use at least one of them daily. The clip locks on and won't let go like its plastic cousins have done me in the past. I'm sure they will run just fine for you in the appendix position.

Vedder Light Tuck or StealthGear Mini? What say you? Comfort is high on the list but we also live in FL and the humidity in the summer is off the chain and don't want anything sticking to my sides.

How about the mag holders? I kind of like the soft sided nylon. Suggestions?
Thanks and seems like a great site.

I purchased a Vedder Light Tuck for my PPQ 45 and like the fit but had to put Velcro on the skin side. AZ gets damn hot and while humidity is not like FL it's enough to make Kydex uncomfortable for me. I would suggest their Dri-Matrix in dual clip backer. I also have Black Arch single clip for the PPQ and will use it most of the time.

What do you know about the Brave Response band type holster, reviews have raged over the comfort and no print?
Everybody LOVES their chosen holster or carry method. Everybody say's their chosen holster/carry location doesn't print, is comfortable....yadda, yadda, yadda.

Go buy a holster and start your collection. You'll need to try a few different holsters to find what works for YOU. You'll wind up just like everybody else......a drawer full of holsters. :D

I use fabric-lined neoprene on the back side of my holsters.

Actually, I've lost about 10 pounds on my diet, and the M with the optional high-ride clips is interesting.

Mated with my new HBE gunbelt.

Two companies in Utah, that strive to be the tops for quality!
