PPKS Interarms Manufacturing date

I have an Interarms made PPK/S pistol and I don't know how to find the date it was built. I did some online research into Interarms. I read that it closed in 1992.
What I'm trying to do is find out where i can go to find out the mfg date. If anyone knows please send the info to brianbrian386@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance for your help.

Here's the best we can offer. There is still no known database of serial numbers for Interarms/Ranger-made pistols.

I was informed on sig forum to look at the barrel showing through the ejection port. On my PPKS there are stamped HH. This represents the numbers 77. I was told this means it was made in 1977. This is their method of dating when mfg.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 They omit the letter G. I have not been able to verify this. My PPKS is marked made in W Germany imported by Interarms.
