Hi all, first time posting here. I'm just curious if anyone has shot either of the two new "Match" pistols, and how they compare to a regular full size PDP? I've been running the 4.5" for almost a year now and am just getting into USPSA (carry optics). Of course, I understand that training is always more important than the gun, but I'm tempted to pick one of the match models up. I have a brass backstrap in my PDP as well as a 15 lbs recoil spring/steel guide rod, and the sprinco competition trigger spring/safety spring installed.
How does the polymer PDP shoot? Is it noticable better than the normal full size in any way? Is the SF really worth twice the price? (thats a painful price tag on a production gun). Would I be better served just getting the polymer and throwing all the same mods on it as my 4.5"? Or am I just excited to buy a new gun and should put that money toward ammo haha. Any thoughts are welcome, not looking for a definitive answer, just curious what others experiences have been.
