That was a ridiculously low price..
It gets even better for those who pick up at the Grab A Gun location in Coppell, Texas.
Combine the no shipping and no transfer fees with the discount for joining the GAG e-mail list, and the out the door price is around $570. At that price, I couldn't resist adding a P99 FE to my collection.

Received my New P99 AS Final Edition. Ordered it on Sunday and got it today. What surprised me was it included a holster and Walther Knife. Will clean it tonight and shot a few rounds through it this weekend. View attachment 122806
Just ordered this guy up. They sure are milking the final, we really mean it this time "Final Edition"!

But they snagged me with the knife and holster. Was on the fence but that got me. Got mine for 539 and 25 transfer and shipping. So little under 580.

I held out as long as I could, hoping the sale would go off and keep me from buying my third P99, but I gave in and ordered one today..... I think $600 out the door for this gun, in today's market, is a steal. I replied in another thread that I'm spending more on ammo than trying new guns these days, and the P99 is the one I shoot more and get the most satisfaction out of. Now I can shoot away and not have to worry about Walther not having parts to replace down the road should the need arise. I know the durability of the P99 is excellent but I'd like to be able to leave my heirs a working example of one of the best designs from the 90s.

Just picked up my P99AS FE. First time to have a P99, which I had considered years ago along with the PPQ M1 and VP9, before finally deciding to snag the PPQ first. Now I have all 3, as I predicted I would.

The green could be brightened a notch, but looks perfectly fine in natural light or bright light. Inside pics in less than ideal light make it appear ~brownish, but that's not what it is. I'm not really a two-tone guy (especially not FDE) but like this one. To be really excited about custom finishes, I would need to see Flecktarn or Tiger Stripe.

Biggest surprise was the excellent quality of the knife. It's ready to deploy to my go bag and adds solid value, as does the ODG CompTac OWB holster. These two help make it a HUGE value from GAG. But the real reason I wanted it is the Decocker/Trigger. Defintely one of the best CCWs, and that's what it will be used for. I'm a shooter, not a collector.

The coin is a no-value gimmick, but meh. Wish it had nite sights, though. My favorites for modern Walthers are the Speed Sights on my PPQ (orange tritium diamond front, white tritium diamonds rear). A set of those may very well find their way to my P99.....

I took it for a shoot last weekend and couldn't shoot it very well at 15 yards. I don't think it is the firearm but me. It is different trigger and everything from my PDP and other handguns. But I will get it figured out. Good looking firearm though but I agree the color, has a lot of brown in it but I still think it is handsome.

Oh and anyone know if the P99 is a year date for 1999? I know it came out a little earlier than that but just curious.
