Q5 Match extras: Carry optics ready, red fiber optic front sight, adjustable rear sight, slide cutouts, "special" coating on the trigger bar, super cool blue trigger.
Q4 Tac extras: Carry optics ready, red fiber optic front sight, adjustable rear sight, and threaded barrel.

There are also the Q4 and Q5 steel frame options.

 

What pilot said, plus beyond the trigger there are other aesthetic upgrades that make them look more like a “competition” gun.

 

It was reported by a forum member that visited the Walther factory in Germany that the Q5 barrels are made by a different process that the standard PPQ barrels.

The more expensive process used for the Q5 barrels being used to coax out a bit of additional accuracy.

I don't know if that is true but the forum member was a respected member and his report certainly sounded credible.
