The PP versions do not hold the same mystique as the PPK's. However, they are arguably a more reliable pistol.

Values are subjective, and your best bet (if looking to sell it) would be to put it on an auction site with a reserve set at what you are willing to sell.

I have seen PPK's (pre-war) in their original boxes go for over $2k in the past couple of years.

I have a pre-war PP that I bought two years ago (no box, and condition is very good) that I paid $400 for.

The age of the pistol will also effect the value. There are at least three different variations of the PP/PPK that were produced between 1929 and 1941.

What is the serial number (range would work) of the pistol in question? Can you post any pictures?
