Just out of curiosity - with the 1/2" shorter barrel of the XD 9mm compact - Does anyone have both a P99c AND an XD compact 9mm?

Can ya take some photos comparing the size (both guns next to each other and on top of each other to illustrate the size differences)

I don't know. I never cared for the way the fullsize XDs looked, although I was amzed when I shot a 45 ACP XD a month or two ago. After I get my PX4 in a couple of weeks, a 45 XD may be my next weapon.

But, I do like the way those subcompact XDs in 9mm look. When I saw the barrel was a bit shorter (3" instead of 3.5"), I was curious how the grip compared to the P99c.

I carry my P99c in my front cargo pockets a lot - and I wanted to see if there was something a little smaller. But, as it is the grip that often makes the gun hard to conceal, I don't see that this XD subcompact would be much difference
