This is a 99.5% cond guide rod. Installed easily, works flawlessly. Fired 1 box (50rnds) of S&B 115gr. FMJ rounds through it, no jams at all. I need to sell it since I have since sold the weapon (lost attraction, had an affair with a revolver that turned into a relationship.. ;) )

The guide rod DOES reduce recoil, or Felt Recoil, by approx 20%. When chambering/unchambering, the slide will retract in a much more linear fashion than the "easy-hard-easy" of a stock guide rod. This is also reflected in shooting, as it cuts muzzle-climb by approx 15%.

It is the "New-gen" of DPM's guide rods, which uses an open-ended guide rod that fits into a bushing under the muzzle. The kit offers a "hard" spring and a "Stock" weight spring. Changing them is very easy - instructions included.

Buyer pays shipping. Asking $50+shipping costs. Retails for $79+shipping when in stock.
