**FOUND!!!** Walther P5C in California

Testing my luck, been feeling really lucky lately.

Would like a P5C to go along with my P99 and P88. No rush, but if someone out there has one that's reasonably priced, let's chat.

Keep in mind I live in the DPRK, so price accordingly.

**OUT OF STATE MEMBERS**

Please be advised, that as much as I would like to take offers on what you may have, CA does not allow the transfer of "off roster" pistols unless it is conducted between two CA residents in a face to face or PPT (private party transfer). You will not able to ship your pistols to any FFL here in CA because of the roster as well. It's complicated and it sucks, but it is what it is. If I had the option to buy one online I would have already done so. Instead, I have to beg here on the forum. Only way to complete an out of state transfer would be you have direct relatives who have CA residency take your pistol in transfer, or you establish CA residency yourself when you come here. I'll have better luck finding hens teeth but hey it's worth asking.

Thanks for the offers however!

I wish you luck.

IMHO, being this close to the 2020 election (and with radical gun banning/limiting agendas from one political party) the "buy" window for classic metal guns has past.

I grabbed 12 "all metal" classics in ~12 months last year (with acceptable prices).

The only P5C I see available online is the GB example, at $2.5k. How bad do you want the "missing link"?

My purchasing has stopped, due to inflated values in the classic gun market.

At this point it’s not all that high priority but I still want one. CA has to deal with the handgun roster so unfortunately anything not on this roster is highly inflated depending on what it is. Those able to buy at those prices AT LEAST keep off roster examples in CA for others to enjoy. I can always buy when I move to TX, but I’m not opposed to finding a legal way of keeping unique pistols in the CA market if I could help it.

I would expect things to settle down after the 2020 election, with classic gun prices doing the same.

I still have several classic Walthers to add to my collection. Won't do it with all the rhetoric flying around.

Good luck.
