Will the M2 fit and work well with holsters made for more common pistols?

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone on this website knows if the Walter PPS M2 would fit well, and work well in a holster made for any other firearms. As most of you know, the PPS M2 is not one of the most popular handguns on the market, at this time and because of that, there are many manufacturers that do not make a holster for this particular pistol. Thank you.

Should work well with a generic soft holster (Remora, some leather, etc) but the slide and dust cover at front are bigger than most other guns.
Might look at holsters for Shield, XD compact...along those lines.
What type of holster are you looking for?
There are several good options for the M2 available. Mine does fit nicely in a leather holster I bought for my Shield. My P99c also fits nicely in one made for a Glock 26/27. It just depends. Most (including me) would recommend getting a holster made for it, especially if you plan to carry it a good bit.
I googled kydex holster for walther pps m2.
Lots listed. I have the On Your Six holster. Great fit and finish. Very comfortable.
Ebay has a ton of iwb and owb holsters for the m2.
If you're interested in Kydex iwb an excellent one for the money is Forged tech. I've had some that were no better for more than twice the money.
The DeSantis OWB for the shield works for the PPS m2 and a few others
I have a Black Arch Holster great customer service and a lovely Iwb

Ordered from CYA Supply on Monday and it arrived last night. Put the PPS M2 in the holster and got a positive click on the first try. It was a bit tight on pulling out of the holster, so I loosened just a bit and it was perfect. $37.74 shipped.

I got lucky on my first ever holster order when I chose CYA for a Shield 9mm. It worked and fit. Now, I have CYA IWB holsters for the Shield, a Glock 19, Glock 27, Glock 43, and now for my PPS M2.
I use a Stealth Operator. It will accept 150 different guns. Plus I have a Fobus paddle holster. I also use a Bianchi #67 for both my Walther PPSM2 and my XD-E.

381465, Thank you for your reply. I am mostly interested in OWB and pocket holsters. I have never tried an IWB, but I bought a Galco Stow and Go IWB holster online and it is supposed to be here tomorrow. I figured that as thin as the PPS and the PPS M2 both are, that both would be very comfortable to carry in that way. I'll probably try wearing that at the 3:30 to 4 o'clock position. I don't think that I could ever feel comfortable carrying ANY handgun in the appendix position. That's just me. I have a leather pocket holster made by a company called Wild Bill's Concealment Holsters that I bought probably twenty or more years ago for S&W J-Frame revolvers. I like that holster a lot. It is still in great condition and it is very comfortable. I would like to try carrying the PPS and the PPS M2, that same way. In my opinion, pocket carry is really great unless you are in a seated position. Sorry to rattle on for so long. Again, thank you for your reply.

muckaleewarrior71, Thank you for your reply. I recently purchased a Galco Stow and Go IWB holster...it should be here tomorrow. And like you said, it is also a fit for the S&W Shield and both the PPS and the PPS M2. I look forward to trying that. I do agree with you about buying a holster made for the M2, I was just hoping that someone might know about a good holster made for a similar sized pistol that isn't made for my M2, just might fit and work really well for the M2. I am very surprised that a companies like Galco, Bianchi and Safariland, do not offer more of their holsters for the PPS and the PPS M2.
