Howdy all,
Love the sight and the info you all post here. Well, I'm planning on joining your ranks soon as I want to buy a p99 within the next few months. I have my heart set on the 9mm with the AS trigger. I was looking at this one on gunbroker http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=86835337 but the seller can't tell what trigger it has on it. Any ideas? I don't live very far away, so I could go take a look at it, but I don't want to drive up if it definitely isn't what I want. Any help would be appreciated. I look forward to spending a lot more time on this site and hopefully someday I will be able to contribute something of worth. Thanks again!

Hi Locofife - welcome to the forum.

The pics are a little fuzzy, but based on the decocker size and mag release that appears to be a Gen 1 P99AS. Can't tell which importer. If the gun shows little wear and is in good condition, i'd buy it on the spot if you can actually drive to the seller in person.

At $429, it's a great price. I'm in the process of getting the same thing on layaway and paid $485 + tax at my local shop, and still considered it a bargain (my other P99 was about $575 sold new).

The seller on GB corrected it to a 15 rnd mag. It's a good deal, I just sold an used one not near as good for that price, I would try to grab it if I were you, just don't take it if it gets past 500 (I bet it won't because the common people don't know how good P99's really are).
