Where can I buy an all German made P99 40S&W? I know that Earl?s Repair Shop has all German ones (although I?m not sure if he has 40?s; his websight just mentions 9mm?s) His prices are somewhat high.
On a related topic, is it worth getting an all German made one? Are the Smith/Walther hybrids just as good?

Any new P99 in 40 will be all-German. Smith and Wesson is just the importer. Try your local gun store, and their distributor.

FWIW, I have a 40 P99, and if I could do it over again, I'd have bought the 9mm.

I bought mine a few years ago from a gun shop in California, it's all German. It's also the .40, so that may be the ticket right there. I like that caliber though and have not been dissapointed with anything other than the cost of ammunition - I had a range try and charge me $17 for a box of American Eagle, 50 rounds. Yeah right!

Essentially, except for a tiny # made many years ago, ALL P99s are all German - as stated above - S&W is just the importer.

S&W is making the PPKs for Walther, but Walther still makes the P99s.
