I consider a "classic" firearm as one that has been out of production for over 25yrs, AND having a unique design and/or mode of function (with QUALITY manufacturing) that the specific manufacturer developed/evolved.


There are new guns with classic design, but that's another story.

Let me just correct the Wikipedia article real quick that says the P9 was the first to use a variation of H&K's roller delayed blowback system in a pistol format...
