Walther has been pretty clear in stating the PPQ Q5 S5 is the first in a new line of steel frame guns.

What do guys think the next SF gun will be?

My guess would be a 4" inch duty-sized pistol without lightening cuts. Perhaps set up to host an optic and iron sights simultaneously.

I like the optic plate set up on the Q5 but it's not ideal for a defensive or duty pistol.

What's the groups prediction?

My bet would be a Q4 Tac SF. Optic ready, (but probably using the same plate system they already use) threaded barrel, and hopefully a “Pro” version of it also, with magwell and extended basepads.

I agree that would be an easy thing to do and thus very possible. For myself personally, that would not get me to lay money down.
