I don't know if there is any info on the life of a ppk barrel, but they can be changed. I have changed several myself. IMO you can shoot it 10X what you have without any trouble.

I have a couple used German .32 ppk barrels for sale. You can search on Gunbroker, Auctionarms or gunsamerica. For German barrels you will mostly find used but could get lucky and find a new one. Earl's Repair may have new replacement barrels, and those will be the most expensive, but top quality. He has a web site also.
