I've been looking everywhere for the legendary (mythical?) P99 QA 9mm full size with the extended ambidextrous slide stop. I'm bewildered that all P99s come with an ambi mag release, but the ambi slide stop is not standard. (At least its not a stupid small button like on a glock :D )

In europe, the model number is 266 28 33. I can't find an equivalent US (WAP77XXX) model. Is this LE only? Can a P99 be retrofitted with the extended ambi stop?

I have yet not ever seen a P99/QA with the ambi slide release in the US.....
I have seen only one P99/DAO that was post 2004 and had the ambi release.......
The ambi-slide release is nothing you can retro fit on the P99

I'm left-handed. I have an ambidextrous slide release on my P2000. I don't use it. I use my trigger finger and the release on the left side of the gun. I suspect I'd do it the same way if my P99 had one.
