The WA2000 was overweight and WAY overpriced in its day. It's almost ironic at how valuable and collectable it is given its complete lack of success...

I have fired the WA2000 that is in that video, and I can say that it is a good gun for its stated purpose (police sniper). moving it to a set location is pretty easy with the sling, and because of the weight, it stays on target and has a low recoil.

its a breeze to shoot

I think it was not successful because of the price, and the complexity. It is very difficult to field strip or provide routine maintenance.

But...the Living Daylights :D

I hear what you're saying. I still love the design/looks of it though. I wish I could convert my 10/22 into a WA2000 look alike.
