I had called them to discuss the issue of the warping recoil guide rod and spring.
I was told it was normal, but the rep said give me your name and address. I received a new rod and spring in the mail yesterday, NO Charge.

It is slightly different than the original. It has a transuscent end rather than the black like the original.

Anyway Walther USA rocks.

Thats good to hear. I wish they just gave a blanket life time warranty like HK, but I've never heard anyone with any complaints or problems getting warranty service so I guess its not too big a deal.

My sons P99 just failed!!

It is exactly the SAME failure that I have seen on other P99s on this sight. The plastic bit in the trigger group with a small pin broke away.:angry:

I emailed Walther USA and Walther Germany.
As a Canadian I am not sure what to do next.

Well they emailed me back that there is a waranty depot about an hour from my house!!


Whew.............

My shooting buddy had exactly the same failue on his about 3 months ago.

Almost makes you wonder what the hell is going on.

Mine failed also... my serail number is in the 062xxx range. What is you son's s/n range?
