Hello!

In the past few weeks I've been looking at different models of the Walter TPH in .22 lr. In one thread on this forum someone who seems to know a lot about walthers explained about the 'Manurhin myth' and that Walther began making the PPK's and PP from scratch in the late 80ties and that they were not as good in quality as the former coproduction with Manurhin.

Does anyone know about how this concerns the TPH models and which serial numbers mean made in Ulm from scratch?
? I've noticed that some TPH models made in the 90ties have a kind of worn/redish looking safety lever altough they otherwise look like new.

Thanks in advance and 'life is good'!

It's easy to answer that: Manurhin didn't manufacture the TPH. So all of the European exemplars are truly Ulm made.
