Bummer. I have 2, and 1 of them is affected. The one I carry of course. I'm sure more info will be forthcoming in order to mqke a better informed decision on whether to send it or not.:(
Just unloaded mine. Gonna send it in. It's in the AU Range...

I'll say this for Walther - they're treating this seriously unlike SIG. SIG did a "voluntary ungrade" for the same issue, but to their credit Walther is doing a Recall! Good for Walther. Sorry to those impacted by this.

Considering the bad publicity SIG got on their recall is it any wonder Walther jumped on this. At best we can hope manufacturers get the message. If your product has a problem get out in front of the issue and do the right thing.

Take Care

So what exactly are they going to fix on this? 6 to 8 weeks, and this is my EDC...

I'm curious as to what the real issue is as well. Any reported problems? I know when I sent in my XDS model to Springfield for a recall long ago, when I got it back the trigger sucked. Ended up selling it afterward. Makes me cautious about sending in guns that I like now to be "upgraded."

Walther told me it's the trigger safety. They used the PPS M1 trigger safety and it is failing in the M2.

There's a problem getting a shipping label sent by FedEx.....they think it's due to the thousands of labels requested by Walther to be emailed?
I just printed my FedEx shipping label. Any one has an idea how long will they fix the problem? Now my HK VP9 will have no company.

I had to use my cellphone to re-register and print the shipping label.
Mine is effected and I also got no shipping label yet. I registered on my phone.

Agree 100%, mine is on the list to return but I don't plan on sending it in. I like it the way it is and I've heard too many stories like yours. I'll take my chances with the "defective" PPS M2 !
Mine isn't listed.
I saw the notice and started looking at my G19 or LCP to go back into service.
I sent a second gentlemen G17 in and the trigger came back twice as heavy.
Just got rid of mine. Will call the dealer that bought it.
I'll check my new, unfired one assuming it has the newer part. If it's not weird or heavier, I'll send my other in for updating.
At least they are doing this in winter time so having to wear a larger pistol isn't that big of a deal!

My M2 is also affected. When I click on the link to get the shipping label my browser crashes. To be honest, I'm somewhat leery about sending mine back. I don't want some horrible trigger-pull when I get my pistol back. And, yes, this is my daily carry gun, too.
