Walther PP

I have a Manchurin PP. It is exactly like the Walther PP (32 acp). It is a n old pistol. The safety broke on it. The gunsmith here says he can't get parts for it. Does anyone know if the parts for the safety from a PPK or a PPKS are the same as Walther PP. If you know of a good gunsmith that specializes on Walthers, please send me their way.

Also you may want to search for Numrich Arms/Gun Parts Corporation on the web. They carry a great many parts.

Define "here".
Excellent question.
Based on your statements that the here gunsmith said, he's not living up to his alleged profession. A little research on his part would go a long way to solving your problem. which without looking I bet could be solved by a gander through ebays parts offerings.
Manurhin and Walther safeties are interchangeable. However, depending on when it was made, it may be cheaper to replace the firing pin as well as the safety. And the decocking lever may be need to be refitted in either case.

McClellan (M&M, no relation) is expert, and reasonable.
