I see some Walther parts kits on GB,also some Taurus, keltec, ruger etc .
They include the frame other parts kits do not include the frame these frame kits do not require a FFL,so is another part considered the receiver ?

Anyone know the answer to this?
Thanks in advance !

Have a link? I never see the frame included with parts kits, only broken down parts guns. I'm very curious.

Using the Gen 1 PPS as an example the frame is not the part that is serialized. It is the rail system that fits inside that contains the serial number.

I don't own a P22 but it appears to be the same as the PPS where the receiver is the serialized piece that fits inside of the frame with the rails. The serial number will then be visible through a cut out in the frame.

Does anyone know if the frames on the early generation P22's are compatible with the current generation?
