Just when I though I'd save some money, I come across a Walther P38, kurz, with 9mm and conversion 7.65 Para barrel.
Includes box and original papers.

Apparently not many were made.

Picture from the web.

Where should the front sight be? On the abrrel or on the slide? I've seen both in modern P38s.

...ordinary P38-K were not so... you'll firstly notice the differences of the top of the slide, the hammer and the front sight (as you wrote in your second post)

Gunsmith conversions of P38s into so-called "kurz" models are not uncommon, but postwar P38Ks were produced by Ulm only on the P4 platform. Serial numbers are in the 500K range.
