Walther MT-1 Tactical Light - Bulb change

I recently got an old Walther MT-1 Tac light for my P99 but it needs a new bulb. After opening it up I'm not sure how to replace the bulb...? See my pics for reference. There is no obvious way how the bulb comes out...??

Can anyone share some ideas on if it is possible to replace this bulb? Has anyone tried this before?

I guess this kit is too old for anyone to remember if they had one??? I still can't work out how you can detach the bulb...

do you think I should email Walther Germany? Does anyone know if they respond to queries like this?
DM: It would certainly do no harm. Sometimes they are good with a response; sometimes not so good ... it just depends on the day and the person who looks at the message, I guess. Here's the contact information:

or, more simply ...

Sorry I can't help with the actual bulb removal. Whenever I get a problem like this that I can't resolve, I hand it to my kid, who studied for a time to be an engineer. He eventually went another path, but he still has that gene tucked away. :)
Does it literally pull straight out of the housing? I have a Streamlight Stinger XT flashlight and to change the bulb I pull the bulb itself straight out. It has two little wire legs that go into two holes in the housing. I never touch the new bulb with my fingers, always use a soft rag to avoid grease or oils touching the glass. I'd email Walther first, or whoever they contracted to make that particular light. Good Luck!!

It appears that the aluminum housing is sold as a unit with the bulb already installed. Hope that helps!

Thanks Travis!
Although I'll probably give up on this taclight in that case! The link to the other thread indicates that the standard bulb is pretty pathetic.... (Unless I try my hand at soldering on a cree led bulb in it's place?)
Cheers anyway!
