DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMETHIG MORE TO TELL ME ABOUT IT, ITS VALUE,THE YEAR OF MANUFACTURE (I THINK 1909), OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION? ON THE GUN IS WRITTEN SELBSTLADE-PISTOLE CAL.7.65 WALTHER`S -PATENT
THANK YOU ALL

Hello Andrija,

The model 3 was made from 1910 to 1913. It holds 6 rounds of .32ACP. The serial numbers ranged from 11000- about 35000. Total production was about 3500 examples.

There were two factory options available that included a nickeled version and a long barrel version.

There were also two variations. The first had 13 slide serrations. The second variation had 12 slide serrations.

Does yours have the Walther banner under the "Selbstlade-Pistole Cal. 7,65 Walther's Patent"?

The banner appearance just means that the gun is serial numbered after 23000. Any Model 3's before that serial number didn't have the banner. (Suposedly)

The blue book of gun values should have a value for you or check the internet auctions sites like Gunsamerica.com; auctionarms.com; etc and try to find another Model 3. That may give you a good street value for it.

Are you wanting to sell?

I don’t want to sell it because I think I would not get some big money for it. It is much better to have that pistol then to have a little cash in my pocket, if you know what I mean?
But, I would like to know how much I can get for it. I will check the address that you give me. I didn’t know for that thing with the banner and serial number. It is good for me to know something more about my pistol. If you find out something else please tell me.

Thank you again for your information.
