Walther PP Super

I have a Walther PPSuper in the box w/paperwork in 9x18 ultra or police ammo % boxes and 200 new brass for reloading .
Never seen another or heard of it . No one at the gun shows know anything about it . Very powerful ,almost as hot as 9 mm luger . What is this thing and when was it made and what is it worth . It is in great condition .
Thanks weasel 94

That's a nice spot, balance; thanks for find it and posting it. We'll serve it up as a Sticky for future reference. Interesting that they saw fit to work in that legendary British spy James Bond. Where would the company be withint him? :)
I saw "Dr. No" when it was released in 1962. "Bond" was forced to carry the PPK. So, I rushed to my lgs and bought a Beretta Model 70 S/A .32. Still have the Beretta and a recently acquired used PPK/S .380.

Both pieces mean a lot less now than either one did 50 + years ago.

(Speaking of up to date... how about this Zombie thread!)

I have a question. Back when Interarms was distributing Walther pistols, apparently the PPK and PPK/S pistols were manufactured somewhere in the far south, possibly Alabama? Does anybody know what business had the contract to make them and where they were made?

TIA

To me a interesting fact from the video is that Fritz Walther and the company after WW2 was really only patents and some papers. What was the first new pistol they developed? The LP53 a air pistol! And it too eventually would have a Bond connection.
