I recently won a Walther PPK/S in a raffle, and when I picked it up at the gun shop, I asked for instructions in field stripping it. No one could break it down, even the in-house gunsmith who had done it hundreds of times before. Anyway, the shop sent it back to Walther for repair/replacement. That was four weeks ago. How long does Walther usually take to repair pistols?

I sent my PPK back to Smith and Wesson for a sight adjustment and it took two weeks to the day. They did a great job; I was a bit worried about what condition it might be in when I got it back. Turns out I worried for no reason at all.

Congrats on winning the gun! That's really cool.
