My uncle passed away and left me a Walther .22 caliber Olympic bolt action single shot match rifle made by Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thurmgen) that he'd acquired during his tour of duty in World War II. He took it off of a German soldier and I was told it was sometimes used as a sniper rifle. The rifle's now classified as a curio or relic and I have no idea what it's worth. I'm looking to sell it to a collector or interested buyer as I'm just not into guns anymore. The reason he left me the gun at his passing is because we used to go shoot it some when I'd visit him. I haven't shot a gun in over 15 years now and I just don't care to have it sitting around collecting dust anymore. Can anyone give me an idea as to what this rifle might be worth? Is anyone out there interested in acquiring it? Please e-mail me if you have any information or interest in this rifle. Thanks.
