Does anyone on the forum own Trijicon Nightsights on their P99's???
As I understand it the rear is a little loose. However I like the fact it uses the stock rear screw so adjusting it should be easy. At my local shop the owner used a shim to tighten his. I'm thinking of using some steel epoxy to 'build up' the base and bit then filing to fit.

Anyone else Have experience with this???
(My sights are still on order)

I purchased a used 40 cal P99 a few weeks ago, and it too, had a loose site on the rear.(Trijicon). I thought perhaps there's something wrong etc., but when I took it apart you can tell that it's simply not quite large enough to occupy the existing slot. Even though it came with all the stock sites, I don't plan on ever replacing them. In my line of work, I need those night sites.

I'll probably shim it up somehow, or, bring to a local gunsmith and see what he says about it.

Just FYI...the Trijicon's use the stock rear screw as well. They simply don't 'seat' as snug as the original rear site did.
