Finally got the 99QA to the range... I was surprised how nice it shot and really thought the trigger pull weight was just about right. The only thing I would like to change is the "creep". Everything else I own is single-action revolver so I am used to a crisp, clean trigger. Is this something that can be changed, or is it something I just have to get used to?

Dakota:
I am new to thsforum and joined just to know if someone share my feelings about the trigger in the P99QA (I don't like it!) I wish I had a DAO, since it feels more like a revolver but it was QA or nothing so...

Anyway, ?anyone listening out there?

Thanks in advance.

I am a QA fan, and I also think the AS is the best DA/SA in the world. The creep you are talking about is the striker being pulled back just before it is released. One might describe it as a very short double action. I fell in love with it right away, but it is not for everyone. I also like Glock trigger pulls, they are different also. One thing I think that helps the QA is a drop of heavy oil on the forward face of the striker hook, the part that engages the sear. You should run it dry at first to smooth it out, then use a little oil on it. The "creep" will smooth out in time, but will always be the same length. I think the QA is the trigger of the future, but one never knows how far off the future is:p .
