Yes, I understand that Earl's can "significantly" lighten your SA/DA trigger pull. Night sights (Trijicon, Mepros and Earl's own designs) are also available. A Sprinco recoil reducer is a reasonable gadget, but I'd prioritize 15-16 round high-cap (OK, std cap) magazines higher. Rock on!

Anyone else?!

AGrip!

i changed my striker spring down to a 4# Wolff spring for a Glock.  brought the SA down to about 3#, have only had a few FTF's using S&B ammo, has been alright with Winchester Value Paks, CCI/Blazer and Gold-Dot's.

L-R: Stock P99, stock Glock, 4# Wolff

Thanks guys...

Johnny, What is and where do you get a Sprinco recoil reducer, and do they work well?

Quack, where did you get your "4# Wolff spring for a Glock" and is it a do it yourselfer? Did you change your grip or was that comment directed at me?

not a grip, AGrip from Brooks Tactical (see my pic).  it's a fuzzy stick on grip.

link to Wolff spring thread

here's a snip:

my P99 has 850 rds through it now, and here are the measurements that i have with springs that were new and how many rounds that they have been used.

stock (250rds)
DA - 7lb 3.5oz
SA - 3lb 15.6oz

5# (250rds) no FTF's
DA - 5lb 4.0oz (very noticable difference)
SA - 3lb 4.7oz (little difference felt)

4# (350rds) 1 FTF w/ Win Value Pack, but fired on 2nd strike.
DA - 4lb 0.6oz (very noticable difference)
SA - 2lb 13.4oz (very noticable difference)

one note, i bought a case of S&B ammo and had quite a few light strikes with the 4# springs (on both my glock and P99).

if your P99 has alot of rounds through it, the difference in the spring change will be minimal.
