Anyone here young enough to remember the Transformers cartoon from the '80s? In it they had a character named Megatron that transformed into a Walther P38.
Well now there is a new comic book and Megatron now transforms into a P99!
A pre-2004 version too.

You still have connections there ???
That was in 1979. Everyone has retired or passed on...Charlie Stein was the owner. I could tell you some really neat stories...like the time we bought surplus of stuff from the NJ State Police...didn't know what we were getting...ended up being 20 USArmy WWII Reising sub machine guns, two full Auto Tommy guns and one very nice Browning Monitor. The Monitor was the LEO counterpart for the BAR...what a haul. A police dective and myself brought them back in a van from south Jersey. He drove and I had a full loaded, fully charged Thompson in my lap just for precautions. If we had been pulled over by the police I would be sending these to you from Rahway State Prison...

That's pretty kewl.

I grew up watching the Transformers. I had some of the toys - but not that one.

The huge Transformers live action movie is coming out this summer. Its a Michael Bay movie.
