As I begin my search for a second magazine for my Interarms Walther TPH just purchased, do I need to worry about any fit/function problems with the magazines relative to the German made vs. the Interarms made magazines for my US gun? Thanks. Planning on starting with Numrich. Thanks.

If you're looking for .22, good luck. if you are lucky enough to have a .25, eBay is full of good priced ones. 22 mags on eBay go in the neighborhood of $100.

per the OP's question, I have had no problems mixing and matching American mags in German guns and German mags in American guns. All Walther/Interarms produced and in .22 that is. I do have one of non Walther ones, with the funky finger projection, but I've never shot it to see how it performs. I've heard they are good, but I have no personal knowledge of that . If the OP wanted to PM me, I might part with a mag, blued, SS, or even this unshot funky thing.

I have shot IA mags in my German TPH and German mags in my IA TPH. No issues either way, and perhaps the same OEM.

Yes, lots of TPH are sold with one magazine, plus box, etc., which the seller claims is a 'full' package. Paying $100 for that little bit of steel is hard to justify. The dearth of .22 magazines remains a mystery, while those in .25 are stupid cheap and plentiful.

At the time almost everyone went for the .22 version. Ammo was plentiful and cheap. .25 Colts, Berettas, and FNs were readily available around $100 so the .25 TPH was more or less ignored. I have only ever seen one for sale (in person). Y'all know where that one will be the Sunday after Mother's Day.

Out of the twenty odd TPH magazines I have here I note two different blue variants and two stainless variants. And the third party manufacturer which is clearly not the same as Walther

Pilk', I now know why TPH magazines are so hard to find on the open market. You do have a TPH jones.
Mike, yep, I missed it. I'm now living in Perplexity, NJ.
