Hi, I'm new to the forum and need some help. i have a PPKS that I have owned for 17 years and didn't notice how hard the double action trigger pull was until my tendonitus acted up. I like to practice with the first round double action and after a while the trigger pull is too much. Any suggestions? Will a tune up by a qualified gun smith help?
thanks
Well a super cleaning and lub might help some. I dropped to a 16lb hammer spring Factory about 22. That helped also. You could send to a good gunsmith and pay the money. But before I did I think I try above will cost about 10 bucks and 20 min cleaning and instaling the spring. It will never be super light . Its a old design
Don't go too light on the spring. Too light will cause light strikes. Thereby converting your gun into a delightful paperweight.
