Sorry, saved no targets. But I went out shooting today w/ my new 1911 and my compact Walther. Shot 150 rds thru the 1911 first, and then 100 rounds thru the Walther.

I love that little gun. It shoots a LOT better for me than the Glock 26 I carried for 8 years. The next time I have to qualify for my CCW, I'm tempted to use the Walther. I probably won't, just to go easy on myself. But I know I could if I wanted to

I shoot the gun better than I did a Glock 17 and Glock 19 I used to have. Great little gun!

Yes, it is not hard. 1x during one of my renewals, an old lady of 70-something passed, and she had never used a handgun in her life - In fact, the point of the class isn't to TEACH U to shoot. But if this old lady can do it, anyone can.

ShipWreck - where in TX are you? I just moved to Ft. Worth from Louisiana and must say the laws are much more restricting here. I'm trying to get my paperwork situated for my CCW ASAP.

I live in College Station. Moved up to Dallas/Arlington for a year but didn't like it and came back.

Went to the range again today - I have the week off and have been getting very bored. I took my new 1911 again and my SW99. I actually shot the SW99 better than I did the 1911 today. It is a nice gun
- I like it alot.
