James,
The thread diameter and pitch of the AC coded barrel I recently received from Kaehny is M13.5 x 1 LH. It is, I beleive, the same thread and barrel profile to be used on the upcoming H&K USP9 SD. One of my co-workers has a barrel from Earls, as well as one of the CCF/B&T cans. The barrel my friend has (I'll look at the date code Tomorrow or Wed) has the same M13.5 x 1 LH setup as mine. He's had it for at least a year.
The can is beautifully made, but the portion of the Nielsen Device that the barrel threads into protrudes too-short a distance from the rear of the silencer body. This causes the recoil spring guide to bump the rear of the can occasionally, and cause a stoppage. The spring on the Nielsen device also seems a bit too brawny. It appears to be the same spring used on the CCF/B&T silencer for the H&K USP .45 Tactical. The performance of the can is pretty good dry, and quite impressive when douched with a little water.
The Ti Abraxas is a great can. The small diameter, light weight, and indistructible construction add up to a great package. We've been using AGS Lith-Ease White Lithium Grease in all our cans that call for grease, and it works a great deal better than the lithium grease AWC has shipped with the Abraxas in the past. It's a little thicker, lasts longer, and turns in better overall sound suppression. You can get it from: American Grease Stick Company, Muskegon, MI 49443. It's called AGS Line, Lith-Ease White Lithium Grease, Multi Purpose, All Weather, 8 oz, Cat. No. WL-8.
Mike
