In Dr. Lundes FAQ weblink he pictures a soon to be released P99DA. I noticed the slide release is different than other models and almost appears to be, or could be made into, a dual slide release.

Could this be the case?

If you look at the 2 pics on Extremists site (Pic1 and Pic2), it does appear to be an ambi slide release. I think it's a bit funny looking but to each his own.

It will be interesting to if and when it will be released here. I do like the ambi slide release feature. I've been checking out the HK P2000 for the same reason. If the P99 becomes available, I think I've found my next "need to have".
