Fwiw, found another member of the 9x18 Ultra(Police) family. It seems that 750 specimens of the Steyr GB18 model were manufactured for an Italian importer, namely, T.F.C. S.r.l. via G. Marconi 118/b - 25069 Villa Carcina.

So far, I have confirmed that the 9x18U(P) family is composed of;
Walther
Sig
Benelli
Mauser(Renato Gamba)
Steyr
H&K

Found a Steyr and a Mauser model in Italy. Like new, both.

It only makes sense to speak in pairs with these. So we'll see. The Mauser might be a tough sell.

The Benelli, Steyr and H&K are full size guns. Which really gets me thinking, why such a big package for the 9x18U? And in all of these cases, with all the bells and whistles. Meaning, we're not talking 9mm Luger specs.

To tell you the truth.....
I think the Styer is the sexies of them all..... :D
and yes I think the P9S and the BG are for sure overengineered for the 9x18 U

btw I did get my Dummy Geco.....

Btw, uncut. I have not found another supplier of Geco 9x18U. And the Hirtenberger is but a distant dream now. Really distant.

Cool dummy round! :cool:

But I'd still prefer the P9s. The Steyr is way too big!
