What are the top spare parts (3-5 different parts) you recommend to having on standby in case your P99 needs it?

Since the P99 is being discontinued, the assumption is that spare parts will slowly dwindle away. Please share recommended parts here.

I do acknowledge that for some of us, the gun will outlast us.

Maybe a spare backstrap? I've read about them deteriorating.

Otherwise, maybe things like a spare striker. I doubt the fire control group is a required spare unless you tamper with it. Otherwise, things like locking blocks, springs, pins, etc are interchangeable with the PPQ and PDP.

Completed slide assembly is a good one to have. Little pricey, though.

Extra #4 sights and a couple of extra rear sights. The plastic sights get damaged easily.

Years ago, I usually replaced them 1x a year on my carry P99, because they dent so easily

Hope TF could do it. One could modify PPQ/PDP backstraps internally to fit the P99 in the meantime.

Walther still offers them. When they're in stock anyway.

What I want to know is, what parts are compatible between the 9mm and the .40? I have both, are they most of the same parts besides the slide, barrel, and magazine?
