I just ran across this web site over on the Steyr Club forum. I'd never heard of it before -- there's a whole series of them for all brands of guns. Don't know anything about their customer service, but they may be a place to look if you're having a hard time finding a particular gun.

Just thought I'd pass it along...

I just chatted with one of the owners, Amy. She said the Walthers are all AE and AF models and right now shipping is free. Sounds like a great deal for anyone who was in the market! I know the AS is getting hard to come by -- don't know how many they have, but it might be worth a call!

As far as prices, they're not really out of line with what I was able to find -- either online or locally. The going price (at least around here) for a 2004 P99 AS is in the $600 range. The online places that advertised better prices ($500) couldn't get the stock!

I don't know about the prices... I recently bought a NIB AF date code P99 AS in .40 S&W with the two 12 round magazines and the fired casing that they're saying is $605. The one I bought cost me $529 on March 19th... From a local dealer.

And the P22 that they want $312 for I got for $240. On March 19th...

That's why you have to shop around. I can tell you that in northern Virginia they just can't be found. $600 is the going price...IF you can find one. None of the big online wholesalers (OrdnanceOutsellers, OnPoint, AK-47 Man) could get them with 15-rd mags -- or at all. So if there are some in your area, let people know where to get them. I know a couple of guys here in NoVa who have been looking to no avail -- this may be a good chance for them.

Keith's Sporting Goods in Gresham Oregon is where I got my P99 ($529) and P22 ($240) on March 19th.

Keith's Sporting Goods...

Watch out for the huge letters. Great Ghu! <shudder>

I've bought 4 pistols and a Mossberg 500 from them over a span of about 5 or 6 years, all NIB. I know you don't know me from Adam, but I've been happy with everything I've gotten from them. They usually have the best prices in the Portland metropolitan area.

It's hard to find the 2004 AS here in NOVA! (to say the least!)
If one is to be found I'll be very surprised if it's for under $600
Navy87Guy is a great guy, he has been keeping an eye out for me, and has given me a couple of good leads.
I have another good lead on one that i'm looking at this weekend. I'm not sure what he has because it seems like he really doesn't even know. WISH ME LUCK GUYS
