[New to Walther]

The factory sights on my new style P99 QA had a tiny bit of lateral (left to right) play, the Meprolight night sights I installed also have this same tiny bit of movement. It's not much at all, just barely noticeable when looking for it with my fingers.

I assume this is common?

Would it be a good or bad idea to put a dab of Loctite under the sight just to keep it totally solid?

I noticed mine does that too. I'd be worried on a target pistol but not on a combat pistol.

I've got 2 P99's, one a '98 and the other an '04. Both sights are rock solid.

I've got 2 P22's. One sight is rock solid...the other has some play...go figure.
